Job description: construction and deconstruction
As part of the project FAMME, the migrant women self-organization maiz, together with migrant women, is developing instruments for job counseling that are not only equipped to deal with the situation women face on the job market, but also with the extremely complex and specific challenges (based on racism and sexism) that migrant women encounter on the job market and within training and education. The aim is to make a substantial contribution to the deconstruction and transformation of stereotypical images, roles, clichés and norms, thorough incorporating social critique, feminist and political thought into the process.
The project is run by maiz – Autonomous Center for and by Migrant Women in Linz, and is part of the project FAMME, a collaborative project with:
Verein FRAUENSERVICE Graz
Mädchenzentrum Amazone, Bregenz
