VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2010
Everything is design! Design follows function, conveys information, informs communication, invents situations, creates order, makes a statement, makes sense, transforms society, intervenes...
The ›Design Omnibus‹ makes its way(s) through the program of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2010. The experimental bus tours ignite discussions on the versatility of design, and touch on useful objects, unusual forms, absurd objects, unbelievable solutions, functional designs and social practices.
Atmospheres, stores, movement, sound... is it all design? The route takes participants to stations that are part of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK's program. What takes place between here and there are critical questions, ways of appropriating urban spaces through design, additional information, media interventions and performances.
The mediation program was a cooperation with the Graphic School, in the framework of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Education.
