her stories

Gender, equal opportunity, equal treatment and feminism are buzzwords often heard in the media, in education and at work, but what do they mean for our everyday lives?

The educational project ›her stories‹ looks for traces of invisible histories, opportunities for taking action and visions of the future, compiled in the form of a ›calendar.‹

Throughout a series of workshops, a group of women tried out a number of different methods of research and representation, and linked them to artistic strategies. The calendar includes quotes, historical material, demands and visions for the future, and was presented at the 20 year anniversary celebration of the women's counseling and education center Frauen für Frauen in Hollabrunn.
